I serious looking to migrate my EA's to MT5 for testing, in preparation for when MT5 eventualy becomes the mainstream forex trading platform.

I have converted the EA's I previously coded by hand to SQ EA Wizard-MT4.  Your software is great, generates excellent structured code, easy to use and a huge time saver for testing ideas and concepts.

Are there plans for the release of SQ EA Wizard for MT5 and, if so,

What is the expected release date ?

- and -

I want to volunteer as a beta Tester for it.

Please let me know.

there are no immediate plans to support MT5.

As I read on their blog recently, in the next update they are going to make MT5 compatible with all the old MT4 code, so there isn't a big pressure to use MT5 code.

Hello

It's end of the 2014 and many your competitors supports MT5. Don't you think it's time to implement this function to the SQ EA Wizard? Many traders would appreciate it, including me.

Hello Daniel,

I'm sorry,we concentrate development on new StrategyQuant 4 right now. It is possible that we'll add support for MT5 there, and then release new EA Wizard with support for MT5 too,

but I cannot give any expected release date.

I am not so sure that MT5 is going to be the dominant program.

Too many users are reluctant to switch.

Not all brokers have MT5

Brokers that have MT5 offer less instruments than they offer on MT4

I use MT5 quite a bit......  there are far more tools for MT4 - such as this one

I would prefer to see a little more in this package...... just a couple refinements that people have mentioned from time to time.. and a couple more examples on the home page..

Support for this tool is tremendous.....

I do not see good reason for adding MT5 unless there is some wonderful and astounding development in MT5 that is not also in MT4

Mt5 has been out for 6 years. It has jot even become a contender, let alone dominate. As to decide allocating resources, Mark has to decide the biggest value for his resources ' time. Mt5 is not the biggest bang for their buck.
