Trade Trend Line Crosses Long and Short

Hi Tomas,

I tried to reply to you via your reply to my De Mark lines thread, but for some reason was unable to post there so starting new topic.

I tried to make the attached ea based on your example but designed to trade two trendlines, one for longs and one for shorts, but it only seems to open long trades.. Can you only use one trendline at a time or am I doing something wrong?

you have to rename those lines correctly after drawn in MT4 manually. One is “TLINElong” another one is “TLINEshort”. If you do not set those names EA will not work properly. See file attached.

Thanks, Tomas, that seems to be working beautifully now. By any chance do you know of any good software that could draw useful trendlines to be used with this ea? Cheers, Brett

Do not know such tool unfortunately. So far I had the best results with lines manually drawn by myself 🙂
