How does AMD Ryzen R7 compare to i7-7700 for SQ performance?

Hello,

Would anyone be able to advise SQ performance on AMD processor ryzen r7 as compared to i7-7700. Supposedly higher cores is better for SQ process but it is said that both processor perform differently depending on how program is written.

Hello,

I would say AMD processor ryzen r7 (1700) would perform better (more cores, threads) based on information provided by available benchmark data but we have not tested this
