Genetic Evolution & DataBank

Hey All,

 

I’m in trial testing and my question is in Genetic Evolution mode does this replace strategies in the Databank when better ones are found?

 

Also, I’ve noticed many strategies in Genetic Evolution in the (Last Generation tab) are not using all the history, example profitable strategies are only using 2 or 3 years of history rather than a full five years. However, this is selective and doesn’t apply to all strategies.

 

In this situation should those strategies be removed for the this tab or is this a part of the process?

you can change the maximum number of strategies store in the databank. When the value is set to small number better strategies will replace older ones with worse performance.

 

All strategies generated should respect the date range setting you set on the Data tab (Start date / End date). If you provide additional information (screenshots etc) we can check for a possible problem
