Hello

I was just wondering, does EA Wizard or Stategyquant or anything else send data to the company on the performance of an EA or strategy that has been developed?  Is the data on its construction and the data on performance completely private and just in the hands of the customer?  Not that I’ve got anything worth hiding but like to keep such data private.  🙂

Thanks

Hello,

there is nothing like you mentioned implemented in those products. Your EAs are completely yours unless you share them on your own

Everyone having a different data in UTC/GMT times with DaylightSavings ON/OFF,

someone should have the exact data and settings as yours to retest your strategy and get the same results as yours,

it take one little thing not in the right place and a strategy that is profitable for you will be very unprofitable for the other person,

and no nothing sent to the server of SQ just the license question/answer, to confirm your license.
