Hello

Sorry if this was mentioned before. I have data from two sources, same instrument but different time zone. Is there a simple way to use SQ or any other tool around to adjust timestamps in .csv file in one elegant move?

Regards

Hello,

data needs to be exported in correct time zone for SQ. SQ cannot adjust timestamps. It could be done in Excel though

Try amibroker or mt4

Thank you. Struggling with Excel.. 😉 I think it is not possible in MT4 (I am exporting M1 from MT4, there are no time zone adjustments).

In SQ4 in Data Manager there is a Time zone column. Is it somehow usable yet? E.g. can I add in first line of the data “GMT+1” ?

How about TickDownloader? Can it be used to change timestamps in whole set of text data?

You can do in mt4. But there is no option to set dst in mt4.

The only way I found so far with MT4 is import with time shift in History Center.

😉

I think what I need is GTM scroll down menu in “Main data for testing” so I can test different or even same instruments but with different time shift (a bit similar to “Randomize starting bar” in Robustness Test).

I did not realized for months that some of my additional data sets have time shift. Perhaps broker changed server time and I did not noticed. Results on additional data were good 😉

I strongly suggest to add GMT adjustment menu in data for testing settings in SQ4.
