Candle Dimensions

The Candle dimensions commonly use a ‘CandleLength’ of 12 which is probably suitable for some time frames but is very limiting for other time frames.

 

Candles on a 15 minute will naturally be a lot smaller than on a 4-hour chart.

 

I am thinking of making the length variable an external double so that it can be optimized….. to suit various time frames. (replace the number with a variable)

 

Is that going to cause me a lot of grief?

for testing across various timeframe SQ4 will be the solution. Since it will include the EA Wiizard and multi-timeframe testing capabilities you will be basically able to do what you need – test the EA across higher/lower timeframes
