I have built an indicator from some moving averages and added arrows when certain conditions are satisfied.

How can I get the moving averages to display on the chart…. or should I just use the MT4 indicators to keep it simple.

I would like an alert box, How do I make that happen?

How do I prevent repeating alerts (the arrows are repeating each bar on the chart).

Hello,

indicators always appear in MT after the backtest is finished. You can create a template and load that at the beginning of each test. There is also discussion about this on metaquotes forum https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/129750
