QE not starts for 4.20 & trial license verification fails

I just installed QA 4.20 and I can’t start QE. Also verification of trial license fails. What can I do ??

do you mean the program just won’t start at all or you just have a problem with your license? You can send me a reset request to [email protected] I can have a look at your license

I just tried to run QantEditor.exe and it was not working, Does it need license also ?? Just nothing happen when i run this

license is not required to run the editor. Is there any error message appearing or the editor just won’t show up?

it does not show up in both cases: when i start it as an exe file and from inside QA which works now

Here they are. Does it work for you ?? I have also on my PC QA 4.0 and QE works there with no problem

Hello, thanks for the log. It looks that there is some problem with db. Your db file is corrupted.

Please remove the /db directory from your installation directory and start QE or QA. It will create a new db folder with the correct structure.

I did this but QE still don’t show up. DB directory was recreated and some files put there. Did you try fresh install of QA from the web and than start QE  ?? Those were my steps

If there is any error we will release a new update with fix.

I will try it out and let you know.
